Dude is a class act. Always has been. Larry Fitzgerald may be the only one who can top him.

I'm not sure that's "what Christmas is all about" but certainly a very generous gift from him. Always been a fan of him.

    Very generous of him.

Maybe only interesting to me: assuming his salary is $6.3MM/year (really weird structure w/ signing bonuses and restructuring, but think this is close), $19,000 would be ~0.30% of his salary. For the median household income (~$50,00) this would be equivalent to donating $150.

I think he does this just about every year. I remember him doing it last year too.

I used to think Larry Fitz was as chivalrous as they come, but that all changed on a fateful summer day in Chicago, the year was 2009.

I was 17 and Larry was with his whole entourage shoe shopping on Michigan avenue at Nike Town. I was the one kid who had the nerve to approach him and asked him for an autograph as he was leaving. He said no man and walked right by me and his homies all laughed at me.

I will never cheer for or draft Larry in fantasy ever again.

Dude, you were a 17 year old. If you had been an actual kid, maybe that goes differently.

That's why, as I got older, I started letting younger kids in front of me at the spring game when Iowa players were signing autographs.

Just about any player would probably brush off the autograph attempt (on the street) from anyone over 15.

I felt the same about the Harbaugh's..I got a buddy in the media in Maryland. He got us into the locker room for a Ravens pre-season practice at Navy Memorial stadium. We were standing in a hallway and John was walking by completely alone. I reached out my hand to shake his and said "hey Mr. Harbaugh" and he completely ignored me and just kept walking, not even an acknowledgment. He may have thought I was trying to get an interview but I HIGHLY doubt it. I'm a big time 9ers fan so i really hope thats not how Jim is. That doesn't even come close to this though, Me and my buddy were at Atlantis in the Bahamas on the beach. My buddy being a big Cowboys fan sees Deion Sanders walking toward us and was in shock...he says "primetime How you doing? can we get a picture?" its almost laughable now but he just said "Good..No" and kept walking with his noise in the air. I'm sure this comes as a shock to no one but we were only 14 and it really surprised me that he would just blow off some kids like that...My dad being awesome says to my buddy "dont worry about it tim...he's a has been and a D..ick" us being 14 and kids thought it was hilarious even hearing my dad "cuss", the story from there on out was my dad called "primetime" a dick to his face.

It blows my mind the way some of these players act toward the fans that ultimately pay there paycheck...This is always a good story to hear after knowing how some of the pre-madonnas of sports can be. I think both Paul and Fred do a good job of telling our players how important it is to act toward fans...When I was at Maryland all the basketball players were complete ******** especially Greivis Vasquez.

All-Pro receiver Larry Fitzgerald > College kids that play for Iowa in the spring game.

plus he didn't have to make a mockery out of me haha
