    New - Office

This weeks office was kind of a let down ... the saving grace was everybody getting a copy of Michael's diary to read over lunch.

    Thoughts?

    Re: New - Office

I haven't seen it, because I'm supposed to be studying for a test, but the 20 people at my apartment have all told me that it was a solid one, so I don't know where you're coming up with this from.

    Re: New - Office

I thought it was a solid episode. It had a different style to it since they were only in the actual office for about 45 seconds, but still plenty of funny moments.

    Easy, watch it first killer.

Don't get me wrong, it was alright. Maybe the problem was that I spent way too much time watching my newly acquired Seasons 1 & 2 of the Office last weekend. This new one had some funny moments, but the whole boardroom trial thing didn't work well for constant jokes. Definately had some good one-liners ... just kinda fizzled a little bit.

    Re: New - Office

Best season for me was Season 3, then this season and season 2 are pretty close. Season 1 is a step below in my opinion, much more Michael relient and he's not even the best character imo.

    Re: New - Office

The ping-pong side plot was rather weak. Only good that came from that was Dwight calling Jim a dumbazz. Seems like everyone I've talked to about tonights episode either loved it or hated it.

lol... I kind of liked the ping pong thing, especially when Dwight started naming all of those ping pong players!

You're right--I will have to watch it. I didn't mean what I said in a demeaning way to you at all, I was just repeating what I had heard. Studying for as long as I've been in the library doesn't work wonders for the people skills...

    Re: New - Office

Tody was great last night. I love him. But the rest of the story was weak. I am always wondering why Jan stays with Michael. She is not half bad and has a great rack, so she could do better.

I thought Kelly and Pam were funny, but it got annoying after a bit.

Wow, no constant jokes and only a few one-liners, it's almost like they're trying to develop a plot or something...

If you want one-liners watch a Dane Cook stand-up special. You'll be asleep in no time.

ISU has a paintball team? Who knew?

And for the Office, didn't see it as Oregon and Arizona were playing at the same time.

I didn't want to say it, but I was watching a taped version after Dixon left the game, that's right I still TAPED it - no tivo or DVR, freakin VHS baby!

btw, the quality did completely suck, maybe that's why I wasn't high on the episode.

    What's a VHS?

I thought it was okay...nothing special. I'd have to say it was cute, and I did like the smack talking...not trash talking....the smack talking.
