So where are the ISU tickets? I am all for buying from ISU, but I would like to know where they are going to be before I plunk down the cash.

The funny thing is, you go to the site to buy, it gives you the row and seat numbers, but section "TBD7". Just tell me, I can take it!

If you want to pick your seats, you will probably have to wait until they pass the initial purchase option for the donors. And while you may get to pick your seats, they won't be as good as those you would get if you purchased them now.

It's not that I want to pick seats, but I'd like to know if it's going to be 3rd row on the 50 yard line, end zone, front row, or nosebleed. Just to have an idea of roughly where it's gonna be. I am a Century donor, and will be buying this week. Just hoping someone can give me an idea.

When you buy your tickets do they give you a seat/section/row #?

This is a stadium built for watching football. It looks great with an unusually large percentage of the seats between the endzones.

Call the Ticket Office. They should be able to give you enough info to make you comfortable buying a ticket now.

AutoZone corporate is a customer of mine and has asked me how many tickets I want since they know I'm a big Cyclone homer. Likely suite seats. Am I a d-bag for not buying through ISU? Serious question.

Im thinking of buying some anyway and donating them.

Buy them and donate them because A) It helps out Iowa state attendance figures (tickets sold anyways) and B) Those tickets will likely go to veterans or kids who wouldn't get to see a college football game otherwise.

It helps out Iowa state and you get to feel good about doing a good deed!

I would just ask if they could buy them from ISU or have them counted in ISU's lot. Nothing wrong with getting some free tickets if they are offered. Donating some would be a cool thing to do.

If you can get them counted in ISU's lot.....buy as many as possible haha and donate the unused ones. Just spitballing here.

    Re: Bowl Tickets

Does anyone know how the stadium is numbered row wise? Are there an upper and lower deck with repeating row numbers or is it one large deck with row numbers going super high? Any clarification would be gladly appreciated.

Judging by the Ticketmaster seat selection site the seats are treated like one large deck with row numbers going super high.

They say country music speaks to the heart. Unfortunately, it has to go through your ears to get there.

    Re: Bowl Tickets

I just got back from the ISU ticket office. I stopped in and told them I'd like to buy 6 bowl tickets. They looked me up on their computer and said that since I'm a Cardinal level donor, I could only get 4 seats in the area they are reserving and the other two seats would have be somewhere else. I asked if they could make an exception. They said no.

I turned around and walked out.

    Re: Bowl Tickets

This is the response I got from the ticket office when inquiring about the range of sections that the tickets would be in...

We do not currently know what sections we will have. We know that we will be on the east side of the stadium. You can follow the link below for a seating chart.

Thank you for your continued support of ISU athletics

    Re: Bowl Tickets

There will likely be 35-40K people in a 62,000 seat stadium. Im sure you will have the opportunity to move around quite a bit.

It would be nice if they allowed people to sit together in more than groups of 4 when a stadium is not going to be close to full.
