    Remembering what really mattters

While we are discussing hotels, or if we should have gone to this bowl or that bowl, more important things are happening.

James Pollard has surgery tomorrow morning in Iowa City, If you had anything to email Jamie about, I suggest it can wait till Tuesday.

Assuming the doctors who are caring for him are graduates if EIU, this is one time I do not hesitate to say "GO HAWKS"

From our family, our prayers for James and the Pollards.

My heart goes out to this boy, who has been through so much - and his family too. You're in my prayers!

    Re: Remembering what really mattters

I can't even imagine going through this as a parent, or as a child. I know I'd be scared ******** either way, so the bravery on display by the entire family is astounding. I couldn't eat a week before my girlfriend's tonsillectomy, so my thoughts and prayers are with them for a full and speedy recovery.

James Pollard is one tough kid...tougher than a lot of ISU athletes I would believe. Prayers of strength for James, and for his family.

    James Pollard

If I'm reading this right, and this is the "Iowa State" General Discussion...and I didn't see this mentioned.

Mentioned a couple of times on the Cydline show tonight that Jamie Pollard's son James is in the hospital. Thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. I think CFH said his twins played BB with James.

    Re: James Pollard

He had surgery today to remove another tumor. From twitter and Care page posts it sounds like the surgery went as expected and they are awaiting the test results. Praying for them.

I'd trade all the Cyclone success to see that young man healthy. The two things don't even compare. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Best wishes to him and his family. Don't know what else to say or how to say it.
