    CyclonesTV replay

Well, like a fool, made plans with the wife during the BYU game. How soon can I watch the replay. I am going to turn technology off until I have a chance to watch so the sooner the better.

If you ask the basketball analysts outside the state of Iowa I think you would be surprised to hear their responses. Iowa was pegged as a preseason top 5 team by one ESPN analyst and is ranked in the vast, vast majority of preseason top 25 polls

Basketball replays that are Cyclones.tv only have been archiving a lot faster than football games, even cyclones.tv only football games. Probably because they're much shorter. I'm doing the same thing and I'm going to check tonight around 10.

I'd be shocked if it's not up first thing tomorrow morning because even night basketball games have all been up by late the same night or early the next morning.

    Re: CyclonesTV replay

I seem to remember 72 hours for FB games, due to TV contract. 12-24 hrs sounds right for MBB.

    Re: CyclonesTV replay

I've actually emailed the ISU athletic department in the past with this exact question. For rebroadcasting other network's broadcasts of games, 72 hours is correct due to the details of the network television contracts. However, with any orginally broadcasted cyclones.tv games, ISU has the rights to rebroadcast them immediately actually. The problem the athletic department said they have with this is that the files are very large and it takes a long time to upload the replays to the site. Therefore, while theoretically they can put them on instantaneously, they said their currently technology usually takes at least 12 hours to get the games available to watch.
