It's been rumored for a long time, but now it's official. Nebraska will play at Oklahoma in 2021 in honor of the 50th anniversary of the "Game of the Century" and Oklahoma will make a return trip to Lincoln in 2022.
It was a fun rivalry to watch through the Big 8 years. I'm kind of glad to see them be able to resume it. Looking through the press release though, I thought Oklahoma had a little better lead in the all-time series than what they actually do. OU leads 45-38-3.

That seems OK right now, but in a way, that has potential to add a little more fuel to the rivalry fire.
Although I somehow doubt OU fans care that NU left, and NU probably doesn't care what ex-Big 8 fans think about the Big Ten move, either.
One thing I'll say about both programs — each has played at least one non-conference game against a non-pushover during the past decade ... generally prominent programs and/or recently-relevant teams from power-6 leagues. That's a little off-topic, but didn't dig into it until I saw this thread.
