Really? Didnt realize that, that's awesome. Last I heard, CPR said he was still recovering from the knee surgery.

Although it's often incorrect, Pompey isn't on the participation report. I wonder if Daniels alleged leaving has any connection with Brackens apparent benching. Brackens suited up I guess. I mean, Albert Gary served a suspension before we were aware what was going on../dumb speculation

He for sure played... He trips up the ball carrier at the end of the game... or 1 hour 38 min on the Cyclones.tv clock.

His name and number were visable.

I asked CPR about Pompey at the Cyclone Tailgate Tour and he said he had "chronic knee problems". It sounded like he probably would never play football again. If he somehow managed to play that's great. If he could somehow get healthy he is a great talent.

CPR said on his call in show that with about three weeks left on the season, that Pompey was finally running normally again--or, "the best he has since hes been here". I took that as promising.

Now we just have to support Duaron Williams, going through the same process.

CPR also pointed out that guys who have a major injury and surgery while in high school typically go through a long, slow recovery. Their access to top notch trainers and rehab facilities are usually very limited. Even when they have such access, having someone constantly push them to the extreme is probably missing.

It can still be overcome, it just takes more time. Ethan Tuftee is a good example. It took him a greyshirt year plus a year of having little impact to get back to where he is now.

Yep. I remember CPR saying (IIRC, in reference to Williams), "He didn't have the kind of rehab that our guys get here."

So, I'm thinking that Pompey should be ready and rarin' to go come Spring practice.
