BOY HOWDY!!!! Get busy playing basketball or get busy building your crazytown Twitter-verse empire but you can't do both. If I were an employer I'd throw up my hands and say I did everything possible for a late 1st round draft pick who showed up out of shape, disappeared from practices and games, and publicly ran down the company currently signing the paychecks - I'd cut him a last "disability" check and find another player with similar skill set that seems to be available every year... Screw him.

Unless you have daily dealing with Royce, you have no idea where he falls with his condition.
Well said and rational post. Royce did a lot for ISU and I'm not going to rip on him when I really have no idea what he deals with each day and don't have all the facts regarding how the Rockets have dealt with him.

There's never been a headcase in the NBA. Royce is the first one.

    Re: Latest on Royce

Royce White, PF, Houston Rockets, NBA - CBSSports.com

White, Rockets still at odds: The Houston Chronicle reports Saturday that there remains no timetable for rookie Royce White to return to the Rockets. White and Houston GM Daryl Morey are continuing to talk, but it does not appear he'll see the floor anytime soon.
    (Updated 11/24/12)
    Injury Report
No information available at this time (Updated 11/30/12).
    Fantasy Analysis
White and the Rockets have been at odds since his career began. The rookie was upset with a lack of playing time and was ultimately sent to the D-League for a period. He returned but then refused to practice or go to mandated therapy sessions and began seeing fines from the team. Now they are locked in discussion and we're not sure what the final outcome will be. For now, however, it all adds up to White not having any Fantasy value.
    (Updated 11/24/12).

So, this would have counted as an update a week ago...

-Be kind. That is something you will never regret. You will never say to yourself when you are old "I wish I was not good to that person".

Rodman is my 2nd favorite Chicago bull ever. He was a head case but was one of the most prolific energy guys in the league ever.

Yeah....and being a "headcase" is where the comparison ends. Because a headcase that does their JOB, is a working headcase. And as everyone will agree that both of those players had issues....no one will deny that they did what they were PAID TO DO very well. The NBA is a business......not a focus group. And as soon as Royce figures that out.....the better is will be for everyone involved.

Rodman was also a coach's nightmare for the intentional foul his entire career with Detroit and Chicago on their runs. He'd have been a great ft shooter if they could have all been clutch free throws.
