Isn't it a bit early to be blaming Cyclone Alley for the loss?

Either you haven't made enough friends in Ames, or it's time to...uhh I'm going to stop there, but those of you in the cattle industry understand the concept of weaning a calf.

Maybe I'm missing something, please explain, but I loved breaks in Ames. Less crowds, no class, usually got some extra hours at work and upped the bank account. Admittedly, my parents didn't pay for my school, so stupid family obligations were easily blown off with...sorry, gotta work, $'s getting low, mom.
    wow

some people enjoy spending a few days with their family that they havent seen in months

i guess none of us are as much of a popular guy in ames as you are with all your friends that prevent you from spending time with family

    I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT I'M FEELING 22!

Brian Kelly has taken the next step...wow. anybody on here think MacCarney would ever, EVER, try to go get in field goal position with 40 seconds or so left in half and up by 3??? Hell no, he would take a knee and try to win by three points.
I love that Rhoads does some crazy stuff and goes for it on 4th down and all. Need more of it. More blitzes. More crazy *** plays. Hell, they are playing pitch and catch on us anyway....I will not ***** at a few one-on-one burns once in awhile. The turning point to me was Oklahoma with our defense....a step back I would say. Dumb game plan for Landry Jones. I don't think we were able to play defense sense for whatever myriad of complicated reasons.

Todd Sturdy is an OC and has been on our sideline the whole season. He has experience as an OC at the D1 level also. Mess has had no experience until this year. Logically, who would be the better option? Just an observation.
