    Yeah, I graduated from MHS. I heard the legends of the story but thought it would be fun to share with other non-local Iowans especially since D&M interviewed the guy. Wish they'd asked him if he got paid for it or just the tour jacket that was immediately stolen.

    I didn't know about the inclusion in the wikipedia web page for Muscatine. I guess I'll have to read that later. Thanks

    I graduated from MHS as well. I remember the story at the time was The Who held brief auditions to find someone capable. Once he started his audition, they waved off everyone who had lined up to take a shot at it. People said he was a huge fan and knew all their music...no idea if any of that was true. I used to wonder how much of it was just urban legend.
