Mann might have some connections. He graduated from Akron and coached at Dayton.

@jerrymeyer247: Iowa State, Baylor & Wisconsin have been in recently to watch 4-star Henry Ellenson. http://t.co/06HNLhpmIF @Evan_Flood @Bearstruth247

@jerrymeyer247: 4-star Henry Ellenson said Iowa, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Michigan St & Creighton recruiting him hardest. http://t.co/rCkTu7nBO0

Hmmm.... Fran really want to go up against Hoiberg, Ryan, Izzo, and Drew for recruits?

I hope Iowa state should be included on that list. Ellenson would be a great get.

Is that quote right? I was thinking Ellenson was a priority recruit. Instead, Iowa is on his list as one of them coming the hardest?....yuck.

Tough to say, but sometimes the "state" thing is forgotten, so maybe it was meant to be ISU?

As of a few months ago, it was portrayed to me that Ellenson was one of the top 3 priorities for '15.

obviously with the spring live period beginning in about a week, we'll get an update of sorts on the staff's focus.

That would be my guess also.

No, after further review, its not a misprint. 247Sports list those same 5 as 'warm' with his recruiting, with Wisconsin as 'warmer'. Also read two articles about him, one from Feb. and one from March, and we aren't even mentioned in either article. Not even a mention in a list with others. Grrr. Amazing how the most recent few years of much success plus PR about our team and especially our coach, and these high school guys seem to just get tougher to get.

Maybe he wants to be part of the depth in BIG.

Per a staff member, Iowa State is looking JUCO with its posts for the 2015 class. The Indian Hills guys & Williams are well documented and Doc has us looking at some JC posts in Texas.

This is great, but it sure is fun to have guys like Ejim, Niang, and Morris (presumably) around for a while.

No kidding. Another cornerstone guy like Niang would be awesome. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with JUCO's or transfers, we've had great ones. Just want the best of both worlds I guess.

I think I read somewhere that scouts believe Williams from IWCC is the best JuCo prospect in 2015.
