If isu ends up 7-5 what are the odds we play a big10 team vs a pac12 team.

    Re: bowl game opponent

get to 6 and they'll play either one. No idea why West Virginia is passing ISU in bowl projections...considering distance (Meineke in Texas and Holiday in Cali) it makes no sense unless they only care about TV sets and not attendance or revenue.

The Holiday bowl we'd play Stanford. Meineke we'd play Minnesota or Mich St as of now.

Why? We have played with all the top teams in Big 12, including playing the best anyone has played against top team in nation. Now USC on the other hand would scare me

    Not me.

I realize you're talking about ISU's chances against a specific opponent, in present tense, but I'd take my chances on that, as opposed to facing Minnesota, Rutgers or Miami-Ohio.

If ISU-USC happened, it would mark only the second time in 40 years ISU had a bowl matchup vs. a historic college powerhouse (Alabama '01 is the other).

Plus: Nobody would know which team is which, since the uniforms look exactly alike.
