played in the NCAA championship...good enough.

Eik could play in this league. It would have taken the redshirt year but he has turned out to be a good ball player against good competition.

I don't care what the High School ranking was, I said more upside at ISU. Re-read the statement.

You are comparing a true freshman at ISU to a senior at Memphis (with the teammates he head)?

I've also had season tickets at ISU for 12 straight years, and on average miss 1-2 games per year, so I think I can somewhat judge what I've seen.

GMac had an all-star transfer team, that's for sure. I thought that Floyd went through the players, but GMac takes the cake. I don't know how talented they were, but he sure couldn't keep guys at ISU very well.

I would take this year's ISU team as is, head-to-head vs. a full roster of the best still-active former ISU players. And that's with Fred coaching both teams.

    Lucious
    Babb
    Clyburn
    Ejim
    Booker
    ----------
    Niang
    Gibson
    McGee
    Long
    etc.

    vs.

    Tinsley
    Garrett
    Stinson
    White
    Brackins

the team below would win I'd say...no wing play but I think Garrett and Stinson would be good enough to fill in.

I should have been more specific — I meant still-active college players.

Aaaand there it is folks, you know what time it is, get out your tape measures, it's time for the weener measuring contest!!!!! I've got an initial bidder at 12 straight years with season tix and only about 12-24 misses...who's going to up the ante!

JP to be fair, I haven't read closely enough to judge your basketball acumen, but 'have season tickets, always go' isn't an automatic correlation to being a basketball genius. There's plenty of fatarses in the stands with a bucket of stale popcorn. How much have you coached? Have you ever been responsible for evaluating basketball talent as a direct responsibility?

Again, I'm not saying your wrong, I'm openly admitting that I'm not a basketball expert, but using 'LOLOMG I go to all the games' does not necessarily equal credibility.

To be fair, 'how much have you coached' and 'responsible for evaluating basketball talent' doesn't necessarily mean you're good at it either. (I don't mean you personally, just in general terms with anybody)

Isn't that the point of message boards? If anyone needs to be a vetted expert before they can post their opinion, what's the point? I say: Go ahead and post opinions and people that disagree, so what? It's just your opinion. Right? If you can't handle that, step away from the keyboard.

I think you need to slow down and putting statements into your own words. Again this is what I said:

I never claimed to be an expert, genius, etc in that statement. All I'm saying is what I've seen (in going to a lot of games) at Hilton. You can calm down with the ridiculous over exaggerations with LOL, popcorn, weener, fatarse statements. It's OK to have a different opinion than you...

What about the kid Fred signed from Milwuakee, who imploded his senior year of HS? Of course, I'm drawing a blank on his name, but that kid was an incredible athlete...
