    Re: Any NASCAR fans?

Ya NASCAR needs to let the guys duke it out like they used. It would be a much more entertaining racing. Instead I am guessing they will both be fined and or some sort of penalty carrying over into next year.

I was also glad to see JJ crash. I have no problem with him but the sport is boring when all he does is win. I am hoping Brad can win it next week.

For Gordon to take away any chances of Bowyer winning the championship is Bullcrap. There isn't a fine big enough unless you sit him for a couple weeks.

    Re: Any NASCAR fans?

I'm rooting for Brad to win it too - I wish it hadn't been through Jimmie crashing because it's been fun watching them race so hard. They just showed Brad cussing up a storm about the on-track incidents and I completely agree with him. It's ridiculous that he got ******* out for racing Jimmie hard last week (which I thought was awesome) yet this is ok. One of the announcers is like 'why is he commenting and getting caught up in this" well a. they asked him what he thought of it and b. he damn near got taken out by that crash between Bowyer and Gordon.

I actually think they should make Gordon sit a week for the on-track incident, like they did to Kyle Busch with the Nationwide stuff earlier this year. When you start knocking guys out of a championship (not that Bowyer had a great chance) and taking other cars out, you need to sit. Next time, grow a pair and go "have a chat" with the other guy after the race.

    Re: Any NASCAR fans?

I have some respect for J Gordon, but the stunt today was bush league punk a@@ crap. While I doubt he was thinking about points at the time, he basically guaranteed that JJ will finish no worse than 2nd. Clint's deficit to 2nd went from 8 to ~23 points. They should really sit all the Hendrick cars for the last race. Before today's race, team racing was pretty limited to getting lead lap points. With Jeffy's little stunt, NASCAR better come done hard to stop this from growing. Otherwise, it would be pretty easy Penske to send the 22 car out to take out the competition...

    Re: Any NASCAR fans?

Bowyer had it coming. He cost Jeff a race earlier in the year at where I believe was Martinsville. He came hauling *** into the corner and took out Jeff and Jimmie Johnson who was in second on a green/white checker. **** Clint Bowyer.

    Re: Any NASCAR fans?

Jeff isn't that nice to have been trying to help Jimmie. Those two have been sniping at each other a big chunk of the year. I just read that Jeff was actually black-flagged (presumably for not being at speed) when he took out Bowyer. I'd be really surprised if they didn't sit his *** out now. They might have used the "let the boys have at it" argument, but they really get ****** when you don't follow their orders. I doubt the rest of Hendrick wants anything to do with this. Jeff ******* out Jr. earlier this year when he got a tire cut down and Kahne is smart enough to stay away from it.

And the more I see the replays.......Bowyer wasn't going after Gordon on the initial contact. It was just contact that happens in every race when the guys are racing hard. If Gordon can't handle that, then he needs to retire.

I don't think that move at Martinsville was a good idea, but it was hard racing. It wasn't sitting out there after you've been black-flagged and using your car to do your dirty work for you. If Gordon has a problem with Bowyer, than take it to him after the race. Don't be a little pansy and do it on the track where you take out other cars.

Regardless of who hit who and everything..That ten minutes of tv was more exciting than all the NFL games combined today.

20 years from now everyone will know who Jeff Gordon is. No one will remember Clint Bowyer.

that remains to be seen. Jeff has done great things, but he lost a lot of respect from other drivers today. But at this point he may end up being remembered as a guy who was really good at one point and turned into a whiny little ***** at the end of his career.

Yes. She got crashed at the end and didn't go down pit road....but left oil all over that caused about a 10 car crash as they finished. NASCAR should have called the caution, but inexplicably didn't.

    I can't stand her.
