    Free Throws

They were bad tonight. Need to clean that up or it will lose us alot of games.

    Re: Free Throws

Horrible, 54%??? To me even 70% would have been tolerable. Painful to watch....

    Re: Free Throws

free throws will definitely have to improve fast! It was painful to watch usually good free-throw shooters such as clyburn, ejim, and lucious miss them

    Re: Free Throws

If Fred can help Royce with his FT situation. Then these guys should be easy. Its one game, lets see if it happens again. Then start to question.

    Re: Free Throws

We had a lot of freak-outs about FT shooting last season, too — I think it improved a little over the course of the season, didn't it? I don't think it ever reached slam-the-door level, but I think it became less of a concern over time — or was balanced by improvement in other areas.

The team just wanted to give a little tribute to Royce on the night we dropped the NCAA banner.

Missed Ft loses games you shouldn't and that gets you an eight seed in the tourney. One game is nothing but two or three should raise an eyebrow.

    Re: Free Throws

One of the guys missing them was Ejim and he's normally very solid at the line (at least for a non-guard). They'll turn it around. Just an off night at the stripe.

    Re: Free Throws

I never understood the fans behind the hoop with their arms in the air moving their fingers. If I was at the line, most preferably I would want everyone standing still without moving at all. Yadda Yadda Yadda but it seems logical to me when you're the home team.
