VOTE - It's your democratic right!

I don't care who you support, what sex, creed, race, gender, whatever you are. If you are a legal citizen and a registered voter, then you need to vote! Don't let anyone stop you from voting or intimidate you from voting. This is your right and it is too precious to not pursue. So go vote!

I was going to vote, but this thread makes it seem like there's a lot of pressure placed upon me so I think I won't now.

Wouldn't miss the opportunity. Never have missed the opportunity. In fact, didn't miss the opportunity. Voted early. As did the whole family. It's our right to vote. It's fun too.

Re: VOTE - It's your democratic right!

I would say its your duty to cast an informed vote.

Only you can judge if you feel informed enough, but if you haven't done any research into which candidate fits your beliefs the most and only really listened to ads and sound bites, i might say voting isn't for you. It is your right to vote, but it is your responsibility to have informed yourself about it beforehand.

If you live in one of the 5-6 swing states, I agree.

    Otherwise, meh.

Outside of the Presidential election, I completely agree with the voting sentiment shared in this thread.

Re: VOTE - It's your democratic right!

Does anyone have the numbers to text in our votes?

I know last election it was 9775 for McCain and 9776 for Obama. I am just curious if those are still the same?

Also did they finally wave the fees? $0.99 a vote got expensive fast.

I was joking at first, but C4P got awfully quiet after I said it, so maybe Jake really is on him.
