Voices in the stands -- OU Edition

    Any good ones?

In section 10 a couple of old guys (70+) were grousing about someone standing two rows in front of them. Best part was that the guy who was standing was just as old as they are.

Two things... with OU 3rd and 6 and old woman behind me told me to sit down because i was blocking her view. And guy in Hok hat in front of me section C said he was from Tulsa and the store didnt sell OU clothes so according to the sales girl his next best choice was Iowa. Typical walmart.

Some idiot in the 2nd row of section 30 in the student section just blabbered on and on the whole game trying to sound smart about football rules with his girlfriend. He was wrong about everything and would constantly make announcements to everyone around them, mostly about not blaming the officials for bad calls. He made watching a game so much less enjoyable than it should be.

Pretty sad no one has ever seen a cyclone victory vs OU in jack trice. That is amazing really.

Idiot in section E, about row 10, yelled repeatedly "Senor Taco" each time Edwin attempted a kick. NO CLASS, AND NOT FUNNY. Racial jokes ............ummmm, no.

Re: Voices in the stands -- OU Edition

Thanks to the season ticket holders behind us in Section F who sold their tickets to OU fans. The OU fans who were okay except for this woman with them who knew nothing about football. After they scored their touchdown before the half and OU is lining up to kick off she exclaims, "Oh, was that a touchdown? Sweet. So what were they cheering about down on that end? What? It's only worth 3 points?" I felt sorry for the kid sitting with her who really was frustrated explaining why flags were flying or who had the ball.

Now I know why people keep complaining about ticket holders selling their tickets to visiting team fans. It's really really annoying.

No matter what, I could NEVER cheer for Dirt and Urine.

In Section B, a guy in front of me was losing his mind about how the receivers are going to school for free on scholarship, and that their top priority is catching the damn football and they can't even do that.

"Catch the damn ball" was heard in my living room. I may have been the only person in my house at the time...

Heard an OU girl on the hillside ask why they only got 6 points for the touchdown. Her male counterpart was having difficulty explaining the concept of an extra point.

Re: Voices in the stands -- OU Edition

I was watching from home and thought I heard something from the stands during OU's first or second penalty. As the camera guy was zooming in on the ref for announcement I swear I heard someone yell "...illegal (something) defense. 200 yard penalty. Touchdown". It made me chuckle. Anyone else watching hear it? I may have to go back and check the DVR.

I heard a guy behind me say "When Jantz is on his A-game, he is one of the best in the country..."

What the %*#@ is he talking about?
