It would be nice to see them fight this and break some of these discovery requirements. I happened to come across and e-mail advertising a class on e-discovery last spring - in it they were talking about that not being limited to e-mail, but extending to every bit and byte in all companies in the US. Not only must everything be available, but it must be properly archived and catalogued.
