    Jevohn Miller

While it will be impossible to replace Knott for the rest of the season, next man in. Assuming Miller starts he will receive some very good playing experience. He gets to experience playing alongside Klein and will have Knott on the sidelines to give him pointers. I have heard good things about him and that he has a bright future.

    Re: Jevohn Miller

I have a lot of hope for him. He could be a great linebacker and still not hit the field playing behind Jake. Should be some good experience for him, but people should be patient with him getting dropped into the heart of the Big 12 schedule.

    Re: Jevohn Miller

It'll be a tough situation for him to walk into, but fortunately there are some good leaders on the defensive side of the ball who should rally around him - Washington, Klein, McDonough and the rest of the defense will have to pick up the slack.

From the press conference it sounded like George will play in Nickel now and we'll only see Miller in the 4-3 or as a sub in the nickel.

This would be my guess. The drop from Knott to George is much smaller than Knott to Miller at this point.

Expect to see Broomfield or Morgan on the field from here out. Luckily we don't face any more big physical rushing teams.

This is what I figured they would do. I also wonder if we will see some other changes. For example, no George on special teams since he'll be on the field all the time, and less of the 3-3-5 defense, since it seemed to be somewhat in place purely to have Knott, George, and Klein all on the field versus a spread.

Oklahoma had 15 rushing yards on Saturday, I bet we play a lot of Nickel.

They were also playing the Best run defense in the nation... but you are probably right on the Nickel.

My cousin played against him in high school. He was mr everything for BGM, he played a lot of positions and was good at all of them.

I LOVED the 3-3-5 with Knott, Klein and George, but I bet we still see it some with Morgan in at LB and Broomfield as the 5th DB. Getting Morgan, Broomfield, Givens and Washington on the field at once is a plus.

I believe Alabama holds that honor. ND may be top 10.

    Re: Jevohn Miller

I think he sees limited time this week because it Oklahoma. I could see him play more at Kansas though. That is an easier game to bring him into for game experience. Losing Knott will be a blow but at least his backup will start to get game time this year in prep for next year.

I don't think you go purely on yards here. Not giving up a rushing TD until Saturday is very impressive.

    Re: Jevohn Miller

Really saying anything about Miller at this point is tough. He's been playing behind the two of the best LBers in the conference so not seeing the field isn't damning. Having said this I think you see George and Klein out there for the most part with Broomfield and Morgan getting action as well. Morgan could actually see the biggest spike in time because he is slightly more LBery than Broomfield is.

    Or so I have read.
