Training of the Iraqi and Afghan soldiers

Before you ask...yes these videos are real. Good lord....no wonder we can't get out of these countries....absolutely hilarious if you can clear your mind of any political stance prior to viewing.

The exercise interpretations are PRICELESS! I literally got a stomach ache laughing so hard at the 1st link.

That is hilarious.....it'd be funnier if I could do a jumping jack without losing rhythm.

Do threads from the politics board not post on the main page? Just created this and figured most would get a good chuckle, but then it never went to the most recent threads area on the front page?

I'll say it anyway. There is no way that first video is real. Funny, but not real.

jumping jacks aren't taught in grade school over there and thus the incompetance. i realize it's hard to believe, but if you show these to any soldiers they can vouch for the validity of them.

    sad but true!

The first one is actually pretty well choreographed. Everyone is doing their own pattern consistently (and mostly in their own rhythm). The other two are more likely authentic.

No they don't. A bunch of people complained about always seeing that stuff on the front page. Personally I think it was complaints from people who stumbled into the conversations, made uninformed comments, and were then eaten alive like little guppy fish in a pool of piranhas, but I could be wrong.

I believe them all to be authentic, but either way....funny stuff. Spent a good 30 minutes laughing at it last night. Something about it just tweeked my funny bone just right. Must have watched it 20 times and laughed harder everytime.

That first one HAS to be fake. Hilarious, but fake.

We happen to train Afghan soldiers, here. One thing we have a hard time with, is convincing them not to wander down the center of the road, on foot. Most of them come from a place where cars just can't go 100 kph+ due to road conditions, and the idea that a BMW would turn them into a greasy spot on the road just doesn't compute.

Humm, something that Afgan soldiers have in common with college students. Interesting.

Please don't eat me for my post.

If this is real stuff...I'm speechless. Utterly speechless.

Absolutely not. The more in here, the merrier. I think most of us that frequent the cave lament the fact that it's a little empty in here since the new rules came into affect. And most of us are just as full of **** as anyone else, we just do it with confidence
