    Is anyone worried about Kansas?

I know OU is the next game and that KU isn't for another 3 weeks, but the KU game scares me. Besides KSU and OU, they have played everyone really tough and it's possible that we'll need that game for win #6.

When you play in the BIG12 you worry about every conference game. It's a tough league.

There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams

They are tough and are improving. They'll probably reach their peak performance just as they play us. Crap.

If we bring our A game we will beat them.

Any conference game is never easy, but if we lose to kansas it will take both a good game from them, and a bad game from us.

I'm more worried about Kansas than WVU. One month ago I would have been put in the looney bin for a statement like that.

Re: Is anyone worried about Kansas?

Not really. The Kansas National Guard strength is around 5500 soldiers, while the Iowa National Guard strength is currently around 9400. Combined with our superior training, I'm sure we can take them.

Edit: I had to change the post. ******* A, I actually wrote "our strength is over 9000."

I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. During the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
“Because,” says the Lord, “Sandpeople always ride single-file, to hide their numbers.”

Frankenstorm isn't projected to extend that far. You need not worry about Kansas.

Re: Is anyone worried about Kansas?

Yes. There's not a single remaining game that is a gimmee, including Kansas. It's the Big 12, and every week is a fight. I chuckle at those already planning their warm weather bowl trip. We need another victory just to become bowl eligible. I'm cheering hard for the Clones but I sure haven't packed my swimsuit yet!

****. Too late. I edited my post after I read it, but you beat me to it. Well played, sir.
