Again, no Cyclones. Surprised Niang is not there, but whatever.
The title seems a little mis-leading. Apparently, this is not really a list of what they feel are necessarily the 30 most talented freshmen, but the 30 that they feel will have the most impact on their team. So why not title the article that way?
Anyway......thought some might find this interesting.
Kind of funny that Woodbury made the list. I hope they're right, but have my doubts.
Even funnier is that Iowa is apparently being coached by some guy named 'Frank' McCaffery. Maybe it's Fran's mysterious, more subdued twin.
Woodbury blew up at the 2011 NBA Camp, and continued to prove himself as a top-50 prospect. The 6-foot-11 lefty is very good with his back to the basket, and he knows how to score using jump hooks and other post moves. Runs the floor well and is a great passer out of the post. Expect Frank McCaffery to give Woodbury heavy minutes off the bat.
CFH HMagic bball season next year.
Let my Fred's Four Horsemen ride: Georges, Hogue, Nader, and McKay.
