    Cyclones winter jacket

Looking to get a new jacket for cold weather. Does anyone have one of these? Nike Iowa State Cyclones Cardinal Conference Full Zip Performance Hoodie Jacket

Are they warm? It says "moderate weather" so not sure if that would work. I suppose as an outer layer.

    Any other recommendations?

That is nice, and I understand the Cyclones emblem but you can get a nice North Face for that much. $175 is steep for an ISU jacket

I ordered one of these and then sent it back. They are basically a shell. You would still need a fleece or down under it for warmth. I think it is very steep for what it is.

    Re: Cyclones winter jacket

There is always the ever so classic 1998 starter jacket. If you say you never had one of these, you are a liar. Solid warmth, decent hoodie, but always let in a nice frigid breeze up my back while rolling down the hill at the good old High School fooball games. Plus, pockets on the side have always been overrated. Try riding frontside.

Iowa Cyclones Lined Starter Jacket Size S ~Free Shipping~

Feel free to sing some Chumbawamba while you are ordering it to bring back some good times.

I'm still holding onto my 4th Grade Charlotte Hornets Starter for my son in case these make a comeback.

Yes, I had a Starter jacket but it didn't look like that.

I love jackets that you have to pull over your head. I was the coolest kid in school when I had the one that looked like this (ISU, not FSU, obviously):

    Re: Cyclones winter jacket

I had the ISU version of this. That was a great coat. Would still have it today, except for a snowmobiling mishap. The big front pocket was also great for getting lots of beer in the stadium back in college.

    Re: Cyclones winter jacket

My family was always frugal growing up, so we bought a lot of random stuff off clearance racks when it came to clothing. Therefore technically, I never did have any ISU starter jacket. I always wanted one. Mine was actually a UMass one. At that time, I didn't have a clue who UMass was, but their name was similar to UConn's name, so they had to be cool right?

    Re: Cyclones winter jacket

I just googled Iowa State leather jacket, cause I'm looking for another one myself, and this came up. CY looks a bit docile for my taste.
