    ISU Receivers in NFL

Who was the last wide receiver from ISU to catch a TD in the NFL? A buddy and I came up with Seneca or Todd Doxzon but they were both Qb's that changed positions.

Didn't Seneca score a TD in a playoff game for Seattle a couple years ago? I know he isn't a WR but he may have been last Cyclone to score a TD in the NFL.

I think JJ was only the punt returner in Houston when he was in the NFL.

Edit: Played 4 seasons, 2 games with Green Bay in 2002, 30 games with Houston between 2003 and 2004, and 2 games with Arizona in 2005. Punt and Kick Returns, no time at receiver. No career touchdowns.

I don't think you have to go back quite that far. I'm pretty sure Eddie Bridges scored a few. EDIT: or was it Eddie Brown?

Also, he was a TE now WR, but Dan Johnson scored several TDs in the NFL including in the Superbowl.

    Re: ISU Receivers in NFL

I stand corrected on Bridges. I think his whole career was in the CFL. Not sure if our Eddie Brown played in the NFL either. There was one a similar time frame in the NFL but I think he was from Miami.

Wallace had some receptions but no receiving TDs. Doxzon's career stats consist of 2 rushes for 6 yard. No receptions.

    Re: ISU Receivers in NFL

I remember the Iowa State vs Okie State game. Hart Lee ***** vs. Tracy Henderson. Henderson was the greatest reciever ever in an ISU uniform. He left 1 year to early. Never new if he caught a touchdown or if he had flamed out right away.

Look like it was Ike Harris in 1980.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that. ~ George Carlin

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life:
The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves Orcs. ~ John Rogers
