    Interviews with Quarterbacks

Rhoads said no interviews with any of the quarterbacks. Does anyone remember any other times he wouldn't let media talk with the players? I think he said no interviews with Cole Netten on media day.

There was no interviews with Steel Jantz after the TTU debacle.

    Re: Interviews with Quarterbacks

Really what kind of question could be asked that would be of any real value? Q: "So what do you think you'll need to do better to beat Baylor" A: "Crickets" Only negative questions are going to come at this point.

Didn't he say no talking to kickers during camp, not just Netten?

There was a game last year, I think Baylor, where Rhoads didn't make a single player available after the game.

Yeah, I think that was the one. I love it when we get content but if I was a coach, the media would absolutely hate me. I wouldn't say ****. I would make Bill Belichek look like an open book. One thing I would like is if the coordinators had their own press conferences, not just little huddle sessions. Both Michigan Coordinators have about 10-15 minutes each week in a real presser and there are some interesting things said, not to mention the coordinators have some accountability to answer some questions.

It's all snark from here on out

I could watch hours of Wally Burnham just chatting and telling stories.

Thanks everybody for the input. I wasn't sure if this was a first time event or not, and found it intriguing if it was unlike Rhoads.

Before Mizzou 2010, Tiller was not available for interview.

    Re: Interviews with Quarterbacks

They should be available for media interviews. A QB who plays D1 football should be ale to handle the media no matter the situation. I never had that luxury while I was the QB during my HS days.
