    National Title Hunt

12 Total undefeated teams remaining. 10 from BCS AQ conferences (including Notre Dame, not including Ohio State).

    Kansas State 6-0
    Alabama 6-0
    Mississippi State 6-0
    Florida 7-0
    Oregon 7-0
    Oregon State 5-0
    Notre Dame 6-0
    Rutgers 7-0
    Louisville 6-0
    Cincinnati 5-0

Out of these I think you can currently discount the Big East teams, as they won't get consideration unless everyone else fall flat.

I would discount Mississippi St for now, as the best team they have played is Tennessee, and the second best team is a toss up between Troy and Kentucky... And they have Alabama left on the schedule.

Games today, Notre Dame is in a battle with BYU, Florida dominated South Carolina.
Alabama plays Tennessee. Kansas St plays WVU. Oregon St plays Utah.

Oregon St and Oregon have a showdown later this season. If Florida and Alabama go undefeated they would have to play against each other in the SEC Championship.

What are the chances of KSU being shut out of the National Championship even if they are undefeated?

I can't imagine an undefeated KSU being held out for a 1-loss anybody. I think 'Bama, KSU and Oregon have the greatest chance to remain undefeated. 'Bama is a lock assuming they win out. I'm not sure who people would rather see play against that Tide defense - the ground-and-pound of Collin Klein or the super-sonic spread of Chip Kelly. Either one would be an interesting matchup.

You can spend a lot of time and money picking out the perfect floral bouquet for your date ... but you're probably better off checking if you have bad breath and taking the porn out of the glove compartment.

The moral: you gain more by not being stupid, than you do by being smart. Smart gets neutralized by other smart people. Stupid does not.

    Re: National Title Hunt

Notre Dame plays at OU and at USC, so I'm imagining them losing at least one of those 2 games. Oregon will have to play USC twice, assuming they beat Oregon State. Could be one of those things where having a championship game bites you in the butt as far as the NC.

I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story.
