    Why was he freaking out?

    I've found some info like the box score but why did he go into the Jacobson then run back out?

    Am I correctly hearing ISU fans chanting "F**K the Rebels"?

    last play of the game, they threw a pass into the endzone. Had they scored it would have won the game. And the guy did catch it. He was just out of bounds by a mile. Game over. Well, the UNLV coach wanted the officials to review it, but they were already gone. So, he told his team to stay on the field while he went to find the officials. there was a lot of back and forth between our fans and the UNLV players. Finally the coach came back, apparently unable to find anyone, and declared that they were staying. In the end, they just sort of gave up and left. it got pretty angry in the Jack. Kind of awesome, actually. My wife wanted to leave, but I didn't want to miss any of it,

    UNLV threw an incomplete pass into the endzone as time expired, if caught it would have given UNLV the win. The catch was clearly out of bounds and UNLV freaked out. They though the play was never reviewed even though it was and the guy was way out of bounds.

    UNLV started dancing on the ISU logo and ISU fans responded by chanting "**** the Rebels!" I was there and it was a disgrace. The end of the DMac era and it could not end soon enough.

    I will never forget 2006 and losing 41-3 to a 6-6 Kansas team in JTS. The worst loss I have ever seen in person. It was a joke.

    2006 was a horrible year. Really worse than 2003 IMO. The 2006 team should have been 0-12. At least 2003 beat UNI soundly.

    So your saying that last season was on par with 2003 and only slightly better than 2006 and worse than 2008? We only soundly beat one team last season after all.

    Kinda a stupid statement if you ask me, but your right that year did suck. I think it was compounded by the fact that we returned almost everyone on offense and was expected to finish the Big 12 North in 2nd place.

    Also that was Ohio that they soundly beat in 2003, UNI was only beat by a touchdown.

    Yeah, from where I was in the upper deck, that was out by a long way. That was the poorest sportsmanship by a coach that I've seen ever. I just remember their coach egging on their players to chant "UNLV ...UNLV" or "Rebels...". They sucked. Team wasn't great in 2006 but at least they beat that guy... pathetic.

    I had to sit through 2003 at Lincoln...painful. 2003 was worse. I could feel some of the hits our QB's took that year from the upper deck. Neither of those was as bad as the Chiz's second year. How Auburn hired that guy I will never understand, but what comes around goes around...

    Both 03 and 06 were awful years... but at least in 03 it was clear who was better in one game. We were about 4 last second plays from being winless in 06. If you go to OT against Toledo, you're still kind of a loser.

    You put the words in his mouth that "last season was on par with 2003." CyForPresident never said that. Considering the difficulty of last year's schedule and comparing it to 2003, I have a hard time envisioning him saying it either.

    Maybe next time you shouldn't write someone's post for them, and then label the fictitious statement as stupid.

    I understand, but that can be said about last season too. We won 5 games by a combined 17 points, only 3.4 more points per win than our opponent. KState last year won 8 games by only 36 points (averaging only 4.5 points per game).

    I think it is crazy to say that a season when we won 4 games including one in conference play is worse than a season when we won 2 games and none in conference. And the only reason is because we played some over-matched team who at a lower level only won 2 games in that season.

    I'm not even going to mention that average final score in in conference in 2003 was 42.88-8.88 (or 34 point loss per game) vs 2006 when it was 32.75-15 (or 17.75 point loss per game). That would be about twice as bad in 2003.
