    Random Fantasy question

    Hypothetical question:

What would have to happen in order for me to play Tebow at rb in most fantasy leagues due the rex ryans nonsense talk about playing rb?

I like FF just dont take it that seriously and like to have fun with it.

    Re: Random Fantasy question

It would require the organization (NFL.com, ESPN, Yahoo, CBSSports, etc.) you are playing fantasy through to reclassify him as a RB or RB/QB, and that is unlikely to happen.

Would it work like baseball at all? Like if he took x amount of snaps at a different position, he could qualify at said position?

    Re: Random Fantasy question

I didn't feel like starting a new thread for such a generic topic, just looking for some advice.

I have my draft tomorrow (early, I know. Best we could do for our 12-team offline draft). What are you guys feeling?

I'm drafting in the 7 spot & my initial strategy was going to be RB - QB (if Rodgers, Brees, or Manning is available) - RB. After a few mocks though RB's are going like hot cakes so I might just start w/ 2 of them.

Then I was considering Gronk in the 4th if available, but think I might just stick with RB's & WR's here. Thoughts???

This year it is looking like I will draft RB, RB, WR, WR unless something falls into place. TE is thinner this year than recent years, but still not worth reaching into the first 4 rounds for one, in my opinion. QB is deep, and unless you are set on grabbing an Elite Fantasy QB, there will be plenty available after the 4th round, even in a twelve team league.

    Re: Random Fantasy question

Yeah, I was just thinking Graham & Gronk could put up almost receiver numbers like they did last year. That's valuable to have at TE. But Graham won't be available that late, & Gronk probably won't be as good with his injury & no other top options in NE. I just think the WR position is stacked for options, so I'm not so concerned about that.

I have a hard time passing on Brees if he's available in the 2nd, though.

Otherwise, I'm pretty high on scooping up starting RB's when I can because they seem to be few & far between in my mocks so far.

Load up on RB. That is always the best strategy.

Just finished up a mock draft. Brady dropped like crazy which I thought was interesting. I'm looking forward to finding out what pick I'll have in my draft.

    Re: Random Fantasy question

This year QB is so deep it should probably not be taken until your 5th pick unless you really get some great value.

I have Ridley as a 6th round keeper. My strategy is going to be RB RB WR WR or I might snag Graham as a TE if he is available for a good value. Otherwise I am likely just going to take TE very late. But I will be snagging as many WR/RBs as possible before then. TE and QB will likely just be taken whenever I can get value.

Then obviously Defense in the 15th and kicker in the 16th.

That is really interesting - how far did he drop? Any other players that went lower/higher than expected?

I just told our league commish to push the draft as far back as he can - who knows if another freak injury like Harvin/DeShaun Jackson happens again?

Jeremy Maclin and Dennis Pitta are done for the season.
