    MS Surface

Microsoft Surface pricing revealed: $499 to $699 | Microsoft Pri0 | The Seattle Times
The version of the Surface tablet that is launching Oct. 26 runs Windows RT, the version of Windows 8 designed to run on ARM-based processors. (Battery-conserving ARM-based chips power many of today's tablets, including the iPad.) It comes with a version of Office installed that includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote.

    Re: MS Surface

If I could log into work using that it would be worth it. Can't do it on any other tablet so they are worthless to me.
There are times when I am out and about and it takes me longer to drive home than to log in and fix the issue. I don't carry a laptop around everywhere I go but I would consider a tablet.

    Re: MS Surface

Pretty competitive pricing with the iPad. I am definitely interested in the Surface but want to wait until the Pro comes out to make a decision. Why wouldn't they release the two at the same time?
