    Malchow on ISU running game

    Another 2:00 Minute Timeout.

2:00 Timeout With SteveMalchow - Home

Does anyone remember the Rhoads quote? I thought he said he simply wanted ISU to rush for 200 yards each game not outrush opponents by 200 as Steve suggests in his column. That 200 yard mark was a great indicator for ISU wins.

"There are five real good recruits in the state. We got three of them. One couldn’t get into school, and the other went to (the University of) Iowa...which is about the same thing." - Coach Johnny Orr

We do get to play Texas soon. 200 yards shouldn't be too hard to do against them.

I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. During the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
“Because,” says the Lord, “Sandpeople always ride single-file, to hide their numbers.”
