Re: How will the offense get things turned around?

I just hate to tell people "I told you so", but..... I TOLD YOU SO!

I fully expect most of the people on here to be ripping Paul Rhoads a new one today, because he actually suggested today that we need to do the VERY same thing I've been suggesting on here that we need to and getting ripped for.

So let the Paul Rhoads bashing begin. There's nothing wrong with our offense, and we don't need to change anything or find new ways to get the ball in our best weapon's hands in space.

Paul Rhoads and I are dead wrong and we're just way too pessimistic all the time. How dare Paul Rhoads not be drinking the cardinal and gold kool aid and putting down our beloved Cyclones. How dare he look at facts.

Go ahead.... rip away on Paul Rhoads. I'll be waiting.

No one said the offense was good or didn't want it to change. They just go about with some sort of intelligence and don't act like a 14 year old girl about the whole situation.

That's a joke, right clonedude? If not, it's the dumbest thing you've ever posted, and that's saying something.

Just as I figured. Now everyone will agree with what I had to say because Paul Rhoads believes the same thing.

Amazing how that works, isn't it?

You were saying we need to change to an entirely new offense. That's not what Paul Rhoads said. But whatever.

What exactly did you and he agree on. I have a feeling the whole fanbase agreed with him. You aren't special. Well, you are but not that way.

No, vintage everyone else on here that never responds intelligently to questions I pose on here, but instead resort to namecalling and nonsense basically saying how stupid I am for even suggesting things. I fully expect more of the same after this post. Congrats to you all.

I for one, am glad Rhoads sees a problem and is addressing it, unlike the kool aid drunks on here that criticize anyone and everyone that questions their beloved Cyclones on anything.

I think everyone on this board realizes our offense needs to be addressed. However, you were calling for a totally new offense and calling Messingham a failure in his 4th game as an OC. I'm pretty sure Rhoads did neither of those. Nobody gives you an intelligent response because you have yet to post anything intelligent regarding the offense.

So frickin jealous of what they have in Ames. It's truly amazing what Fred has done coming in with 0 coaching experience.

Re: How will the offense get things turned around?

Ok, so to move the conversation to something more intelligent.....how can the offense compliment itself better? I think at times our offense stayed on schedule against K-state, the main problem I saw was K-state is good at crowding the middle of the field, forcing us to throw outside much of the time. So, their D-ends knowing this got several tipped balls. That was part of the problem, but mainly I though JB was just plain inacurrate on some of those throws. Any solutions, or should we just get more creative with the run game?

I don;t suppose there's any chance CPR pulls Big Dawg Williams' redshirt. Or that Shaban Dika is almost healthy. It seems to me as if the interior of the line needs to get a little more physicial. Well, at least both should be ready to go next season!

Other than that, a little better execution--and a big drop in quality of opponent's defense--should help a great deal the next couple of games!

Part of this fanbase is like the parable of the blind men and the elephant.

    Who knew?
