    Jeter out for the season

Nightengale: Only silence after Jeter departs

I'm not a Yankee's fan, but am a huge Derek Jeter fan. Was not a fun thing to see happen last night.

Hall of fame player. Hopefully he can come back next year and not lose anything.

That sucks. Hate the Yankee's, but ya gotta like Jeter. Heck of a ball player.

Sports day yesterday sucked for me. Cyclones lose and than the Yanks lose and my favorite player goes down.

Re: Jeter out for the season

Always have been a Yankee hater, but I've grown to respect and even like Derek Jeter. The guy is a true leader and knows the definition of mental toughness. While I'm a Tigers fan and the road to the World Series just got a lot easier (assuming Leyland doesn't pitch Valverde in again, like, ever), I would have rather the Tigers beat the Yankees with Jeter on the field.

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
