Do you think they missed James White today?

After 5 strait losses to K-State this is getting really tiresome, just the same old thing over and over again.

I was impressed with the physicallty of our defense. Frustrated KSU into a lot of uncharacteristic penalties. Evenly matched teams aside from one position. They had a huge advantage at QB. I like Snyder's style of football. Keeps it simple and doesn't allow you to even have the ball. I am looking forward to their game against WV.

Yeah, I think he might have made a difference. Of course, being able to complete wide-open passes would help out as well.

I'm very frustrated by this as well. The difference was QB play and to some extent superior line play by KSU. KSU is just to well-coached you have to beat them - they will not beat themselves.

Defense was again amazing today (minus the 3 offside penalty's) Really kept the game closer than it should have been! The play that decided the game was the fumbled punt, followed by the interception. Had ISU gotten points it would have changed the game.

1 drive over 10 yards in the 2nd half. Need offense to compete in this league, and we just don't have one right now.

Gotta find some offense somewhere. Especially in the running game. 65 rushing yards on 24 attempts. 2.7 yards/attempt.

Barnett threw seven straight incompletions to end the game, including missing wide open Shontrelle Johnson and Chris Young. Gotta make some of those throws.

    Re: *** Official Farmageddon 2012 Postgame ***

I thought Barnett made some poor reads and poor throws in the passing game, that's for sure. But there were several plays where our receivers didn't appear to go all-out either, which was unexpected.

The punt return gimmick of trying to fool KState into not following the punt inside the 10 failed miserably twice, and they both really hurt. Especially that last kick - he's punting into the wind, it's not going into the end zone. May as well go for the block.

Really frustrating when you're facing the Kansas State Fightin' Collin Kleins, when you know what they're gonna do and who's gonna carry the ball, and you still can't stop them. I think the Wildcats converted three more third downs on their way to the team bus.

Defense was good. Offense was too good, but at least did a good job of scoring TDs when they got there. Playcalling was good enough, I think, but execution was poor. The usual against K-State -- just a couple of plays away.

Yup. The fumbled punt was the window. Turning it over immediately afterwards was a killer.

    Re: *** Official Farmageddon 2012 Postgame ***

i don't understand the last offensive play. 4th and 5 and you throw it 3 yards into the dirt. wtf is that? you HAVE to at least get it past the ******* L.O.S. to have a shot on forth down. throw it to ANY WR downfield and hope for a miracle or defensive penalty. but a 3 yrd under route? if he were open that would have been one thing to get it to him and let him run, but he was blanketed. had he caught it he would have been tackled immediately. lose lose

    mind boggling.

Not really, we held, got the ball back, and got a TD on it didn't we?

I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story.
