Manute Bols son. Lives down in Kansas City. We might need to start looking at this kid.

Manute Bol's son is now a 6-5 seventh grader

Did we go after his nephew?

There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams

    Re: Bol Bol

My wife met him at a restaurant a few years back. She said he was one of the nicest guys she had ever met. I believe he did a lot of charitable stuff in Africa too.

As a side note, she said he could put his palms flat on the floor as he was sitting in a chair at the restaurant.

Personally, I'm wondering if we've kept in touch with Cato's son, Xavier..

I think early to mid teens. Not going to go closer than that here.

Manute could knock down the threes. His son would fit right in CFH's system.

While he dealt with a number of politicians trying to do things for the people of Sudan, he really wasn't a politician. He literally gave his life trying to help his war-torn country's people to a better life. He moved to KC after his NBA career because of the large Sudanese immigrant settlement there. Des Moines also has a settlement, and he did a lot raising support in Iowa as well. He used all the money he made in the NBA for projects in his home country. On one visit he contracted a disease that he needed to get back to the U.S. for treatment, but delayed leaving to ensure a project was getting done. As a result he couldn't overcome the disease and died from it. This was a very great man. I'd be proud to have his son as a Cyclone, even if it was "just" for an education.

"One of the top 5 prospects of the 2018 class"

7th grade class rankings seem creepy to me.
