    Help from Kansas City Friends

I have found the gamewatch locations in KC for this weekend. I have another question. Are there any places close to Power and Light that have decent food and the games on TV? I ask because we will be staying two blocks from there so it would be convenient if our group could walk everywhere. If not, we will jump in Taxis and head to a game watch.

    I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU

    Or so I have read.

Pretty much all of the bar and grills in P&L meet those qualifications.
810 Zone is a good place to start, guaranteed the game will be on several TVs there.

Johnny's in P&L is the best sports bar there and they have treated us well for some basketball gamewatches last year. The Brooksider is not a bad cab ride from P&L especially if you have a group if you go to the gamewatch bring an ISU mug.

Flying Saucer, connected to P&L but only accessible from the corner of 13th and Walnut, will likely have it on. The food is only ok but the fresh baked pretzels are amazing and the beer selection is unparalleled. A very cool place to spend a couple hours but you can easily drop $50 on 5 beers. Also worth noting that they will only let you buy 5 beers per person per visit but that is fine when you are drinking 6-10% beers, often in sizes larger than 12 oz.

Other options in that area with better food would be the Blue Line (River Market), Gordon Biersch (P&L), Bar Louie (P&L), and the Cashew (20th & Grand). All of them should have the game on.
