Bo Knows the Next Step or Bo Goes?

Steven M. Sipple: Huskers take giant step backward : Latest Husker News

Maybe next time Nebraska can go on the road and earn that elusive triumph that changes the perception of Bo Pelini's program.

You know, the perception that it's stuck in neutral.
Maybe next time Nebraska will better defend against a dual-threat quarterback, as opposed to watching Ohio State sophomore Braxton Miller take over Saturday night's game.
Maybe next time the Huskers will figure out the secret to defending a spread offense.
Maybe next time Husker junior quarterback Taylor Martinez will respond in the bright lights, on national TV, against a quality opponent, instead of winging the ball to the guys on defense.
The transition to the Big ten has been underwhelming. The spread offense of Tom Herman was too much.

Bo's head will explode and then it will be all over. Likely gone by end of next year with the new AD, unless he pulls a rabbit out of his hat.

It was so nice to see my Buckeyes run all over him Saturday. Didn't make it into the stadium until after the first TD because I had been at the ISU gamewatch, but still got to see TD after TD crammed down his throat!

Shatel: Eichorst sounds good, but success rests on football results - Omaha.com

t's time to move on from that. Pelini knew Osborne wouldn't be around forever. Now he has a new boss, a guy with which he can relate in some areas. Like Pelini, Eichorst is a hard-worker and devoted family man who doesn't seek the spotlight but does have an appetite for trophies.“My expectations for this program are to compete for championships,” Eichorst said. “Yes, national championships, absolutely. That's what Nebraska fans expect. I get that.”
He and Pelini can talk all about it. The sooner the better.

The best part of the game was when Nebraska got that early 17-7 lead and the Husker fans were all pumped up. Then they all quickly deflated. . .

They say country music speaks to the heart. Unfortunately, it has to go through your ears to get there.
