    CU offensive line set

Can anyone explain the hand holding between their guard and tackle at the snap, it was only on certain plays and generally on the right side of the line. Also, before a few snaps they both wiggled their arms backward. That was odd.

Can I take your quote and take it out of context? I am open minded. But this sounds like flagrant open mindedness.

as far as i know its somewhat common. i suppose it helps you get a better jump on the snap since chances are likely the tackle cant look at the ball to see when its snapped, and he needs to focus on the DE's.

    Re: CU offensive line set

I have seen teams do it when they had to deal with a lot of crowd noise and couldn't hear the QB.

Yeah they hold hands b/c the guard can hear the QB and the tackle can not when it gets loud (great job fans) then when the ball is snapped the guard lets go of the tackles hand signifying the start of the play. It happens a lot in loud stadiums.

    Re: CU offensive line set

As far as the "arm waggle," I wonder if it's a signal to the backfield about a modification to the blocking scheme due to defensive alignment. . .
