Refs were pretty bad. I remember Kirby's punt on 4th and 1 in the first with alot of momentum, and he just got run into by their rusher. Pretty darn obvious, to the point where the announcers were like"huh, he just ran right into the kicker and there was no call."
Usually I'm exaggerating when I say that even a trained chimp could make that call, but not this time. Easily one of the biggest missed calls I've seen in a long time.

Interesting theory. Ecby (from TX) got on the field as well. At the time I thought CPR was trying to take advantage of our improved depth, however I think you might be on to something.
Rob Standard also got in (as a slot reciever I believe). He ran an out route on 3rd down, which the pass was targeted at Tiller but was double covered (Could be wrong on the down). The announcers said he should have thrown to Standard (who is not from Texas).
I remember earlier in the year CPR saying about the OL (or DL) that he liked getting a lot of people in the game as it helps keep the young guys interested (both in practice and in the game). I am thinking maybe he is trying this out with the other positions as well. CPR could be using this as a recruiting technique though.
