Things to do in San Antonio

I will be in San Antonio until mid December. I was wondering if people had suggestions of things to do. I have never been to the area before let alone Texas. So far, I plan on doing the Alamo, River walk, and going to the ocean. I was wondering if you guys had any other suggestions. Keep in mind I am 22.
Hopefully I can make it to the Texas game and maybe even Okie State game.

Nice zoo down by McAllen. Big Water park if it stays open.

I was there once for work and my boss bought himself a really nice pair of cowboy boots; if it's your thing, they probably have some other great Western-wear, too. Not sure what the name of the place is, but it was visible from the interstate about halfway between the airport and downtown.

Granted, I was about 9, but I remember the Alamo being extremely boring and disappointing. Sea World and Six Flags were awesome as a kid though.

Re: Things to do in San Antonio

If you like to ride motorcycles there are some great areas to just tour the countryside. We flew in and rented some bikes and went NW from San Antonio one day and went through Fredericksburg (cool little german town) and then just took off on backroads. There was a lot of great riding to be had.

Otherwise, I'd second the River Walk.

    Fun hike:
Enchanted Rock State Natural Area — Texas Parks & Wildlife Department

Hit this and then back through the Fredericksburg area for some German food and wine.

LBJ's Presidential Library is in the area too.
