Why do we now put two guys back, at the same distance but opposite sides of the field, and neither attempts to catch the ball unless it's within about 5 yards of where they start? Even when KSU was punting into the wind, we managed to let the ball sail 20 yards past us and started around our own 4-yard line.
In past years we've put two guys back, staggered by 10-15 yards and had decent success with it. I think it was '09 or '10 when we had Lenz and someone else back, one of them faked out the cover team and the guy who really did catch the punt got a long return out of it.
