    Halloween!

The greatest college holiday of the year is just 3 short weeks away! What is everyone going as this year?

I haven't quite decided yet. Went as Thinking Arby's guy last year but trying to think of something new for this one.

    Re: Halloween!

I never did dress up for anything in college - was usually being a responsible chaperone for a dance. Wish I'd taken advantage of that holiday!

We've got a bday/halloween party to go to this year and I've been stuck on ideas, but I may just steal CysRage's idea - I'm in Wisconsin!

    Re: Halloween!

For all of you back in Ames, or in any college town, here are your instructions:

-wake up early on November 1
-go to Lincoln Way, bring a lawn chair
-encamp yourself at a location with a good view of the paths between the dorms and Greekland
-enjoy watching people take the walk of shame in their costumes :)

*protip: bring a camera for timeless memories and/or some snacks and refreshments for your comfort

    (well, only kind of...)

    Re: Halloween!

Last year my wife went as the pumpkin and I went as the pumpkin-eater. It appeared she'd been ravaged around the bottom of the pumpkin and I had seeds and pumpkin string on my cheeks, chin, and shirt. The neighbor ladies loved it ;)

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

Remember, you're unique. Just like everyone else.

Eh... I believe the goal of would be sending one of those girls on a walk of shame. Not watching from the sidelines.

I did Waldo last year. It got annoying after awhile, but I still scored, so it was a good costume!

If I get a chance to dress-up, I was thinking about going as a replacement ref. How would you denote that you're a replacement ref and not a "regular" ref?

Husband and I were discussing. He said to wear big "grandpa" glasses to indicate poor vision, typical striped shirt, and I said to wear a sign that says "touchdown Seahawks".
