    Are those the mighty blackshirts??

That gave up 28 points in the first half? (Defense scored 7)

The same blackshirts that the B1G wasn't ready for?

Omaha sports radio has been saying for weeks that the offense is going to have to carry them because the blackshirts aren't very good. They match up better against traditional Big 11 offenses, but there aren't that many left not running the spread (MSU, Wisky, iowa, PSU).

It's a great Monday in the office. Husker fans are all griping about Martinez instead of griping about why they aren't ranked in the top 5.

The Husker defense is just awful when they face a very mobile quarterback. It was this way last year too.

I had to dig up this article from the OWH that was written after the mighty Huskers beat the now 0-5 Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles

I laughed aloud last night while watching SoundOff when Keith or Andy mentioned how depressed "Cooter Ray Nation" was after that game. The thought of thousands of Cooter Ray's sadly spitting in their plastic Mountain Thunder bottles is an amazing thought.

    LOL! Great find!!

"Why does Nebraska open the season relatively polished? The same reasons the program was a college football giant for 40 years.

    Stability. Continuity. Experience."

    The delusion is delicious!
