    TCU channel for game

    Does anyone know what channel the game is on for directv? I am running in the color run today and want to dvr. I have found multiple channels for the game but don't want to dvr a channel I don't get. Any way to figure that out would be great. Thanks

    Get sports packages, record any of them. Pretty simple actually.

    You more than likely get FSMWHD (that's about the only one I get without a package), my advice is to record that one.

    Yeah, even without the sports package, you should get Fox Sports Midwest, I believe it's channel 671. Make sure you select the HD channel, (if applicable).

    If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right!!

    mediacom des moines area - FSN HD channel 832

    Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than selfish and worry about my liver."

    Re: TCU channel for game

    For Chicago area people, for sure it is NOT On Comcast Sportsnet Chicago (CSN). In the past they would show FSN football if there wasn't a cubs/sox/hawks/bulls game, but no longer.

    I have basic direcTV and there are a few FSN channels that seem like they might be carrying just the FSN football games today and no other programming via basic package (an SEC game is coming up at 11 that will let me know). If not I'll try to get to an ISU gamewatch, there's actually a TCU watch in my neighborhood.

    I'm sure there will be a pirate stream somewhere of any FSN game but that does nothing for the DVR crowd.

    Re: TCU channel for game

    this is ridiculous......Is the game being broadcast by Fox Sports Net, Fox College Sports, or Comcast?!? What channel is it shown on in Iowa City? Cyclones website says "FSN". Everyone in this link is referring to a Comcast HD channel. Lord, it is 2012 A.D., you think they would have television listings available on-line that are user-friendlly. A sincere thanks to anyone who can clear this up without snark....frustrating.

    Does your Mediacom digital cable have an on-screen guide?

    Menu --> Sports --> Football
    Right arrow to "2:30 pm"
    Down arrow to see listings/descriptions

    Re: TCU channel for game

    I called directv and splurged for the sports package. They are giving me three months for $7.99 a month. It's normally $12.99. I figured it was a good deal and I can cancel when football season ends... Well close to ending.
