Yep, several of my buddies txt'd me that it looks like the Miami guy is their man.

Is this the same guy that allowed all those NCAA violations to happen? Seems like a good fit.

He's only been at Miami since April of 2011, so I'd guess no.

Re: Looks like Nebraska may have found their replacement as AD

Eichorst was hired by the Hurricanes after serving as Wisconsin's Chief Operating Officer for athletics, overseeing a $90 million budget and being closely involved with a $100 million construction project for ice hockey, swimming and football. Eichorst was highly recommended for the Miami job by his one-time boss at Wisconsin, athletic director Barry Alvarez -- a close friend of Shalala.
Alvarez is also a graduate of Nebraska.

Honestly think Pollard is going to stay here for the long haul.

My guess would be that he's getting out for the $973,000 salary.

Remember, you're unique. Just like everyone else.

Until further notice, the Big 12 tournament is best. There's an experience here. Not just the teams -- the feel, the vibe, the establishments. Iowa State not only won the pregame -- filling the nearby Power & Light District -- it won the whole damn scene.
