    Adobe Flash Player problems

Several weeks ago I updated my Flash player to the latest version (11.whatever). Since then I've had a ton problems with my Internet Explorer. Basically IE shuts down about 10% of the time I move from one site to another, or one page to another. Anyone else experience this?

I've tried to download the older version of Flash Player (10.4) but Adobe won't let me.

I can't switch browsers because I used a web hosted database for my business and they are never caught up on compatability issues with Chrome or Firefox.

My IT expert, (i.e.-the store I bought my computer from) says his best solution is to wipe my machine clean and reinstall everything. Any other thoughts?

    Use both?

I know in Chrome there are issues with shockwave and flash conflicting with the built in flash player of Chrome. Do you have shockwave installed at all? You can try removing both shockwave and flash from you computer and then install just flash fresh. Maybe IE has a similar issue. Which version of IE?
