KU @ KSU a Border War Placebo?

KU's main rival since the 19th century has always been Mizzou. Since that ended, will the rivalry with KSU begin to heat up? If 3CC has his way, it will, according to the KC Star:

It would sure help the Cyclones cause if the Jayhawks could mount a serious challenge in Saturday's visit to Manhattan. Given its a new regime at KU, though, it will probably be little more than a scrimage for the Purple Kitties. But , partly to liven up the Kitty-Hawk series, and partly as an act of sheer desperation, maybe the Rock Chaulkers should resort to a little Friday night prankstership. So what to do? ... Kidnap the mascot? ... been done ... Here's a good one: Round up all the hot sauce in Manhattan. Why would that work? Here's the scoop:

That's right, without his nightly fix, the Old Man will get the shakes, break into a cold sweat, and slip into a coma by kickoff time. An ornery plan, sure, but a new tradition could be born, complete with a back-to-the-future image consultant:

The Yo Quiero Series would be born! Hey, if Bill can come out of retirement, why not the world's most famous chihuahua?

I just pray that we've got students manning the Oklahoma hotel when their team comes to town. Wouldn't want people pulling the fire alarm all night, would we?
