    Who gives the best interview

Just wondering what everyone else thinks about the press conference/postgame interviews so far. Ever since Arnaud graduated I haven't felt like we had anybody who I didn't cringe at least a little bit when the microphone was put in their face. But this year I've really liked what Jacques Washington has to say. Woody and Jake Knott aren't too bad, but they stick entirely to coachspeak. They talk like they are reading off a ****** and you know 99% of their answer word for word before they open their mouth. Jacques is the first guy since Arnaud that goes a little beyond the coachspeak with some nice quotes and insights.

    How about everybody else?

edit: I have no idea why s c r i p t is being censored by the filter.

Coach speak..... Jake Knott yes, Jeff Woody no. I think Jeff gives arguably a more intelligent interview than even Arnaud did in some ways. I'd hardly say he sticks to the redundant ******. As for the most entertaining interviews over the last few years, I'd hands down say Terran Benton. That dude's interviews would go down some crazy fun roads that would come out of knowhere and you had no idea where you'd end up. I wish I remember some of the one-liner quotes he had. The dude was hilarious, but rarely got interview. During the time, I figured there was a conspiracy theory behind the fact that he was rarely interviewed. I figured it was mainly because the coaches were scared of what might come out of his mouth, but what came out of his mouth was always pure entertainment IMHO.

I have heard from my student journalist friends that Jeff Woody is their favorite to interview and it's not close

I agree. I thought they've been very dull this year. I may stop watching them. Arnaud was always great, and Scotty C in BB always was great because he was truthful and didn't spout canned responses.

I don't know, on the video I"m watching now, Jeff Woody seems like a pretty good interview.

Re: Who gives the best interview

I agree Jeremiah George was good after the game i enjoyed listening to him on my drive home. Also I believe CW said something to the effect that JG was the best interview on the team.
