How costly would Lucca's suspension be?

Let's say the decision is upheld..

How many wins do you think this costs this team?

Seeing how I've only seen him play a couple times in the Cap. City league, I have no idea.

I voted 1, it is always nice to have a shooter, but I have never seen him play. Freshman are so streaky anyway.

Re: How costly would Lucca's suspension be?

I haven't seen him play, but from what I have heard about him, he brings to the table exactly what this team needs. Big 12 size, passing, deadly shooting, good experience for a freshman.

Take into consideration that the depth and rotation of the team will have to change, and that we are thin at the guard court to begin with...I say him playing gets us at least 2 wins we won't get without him.

Pure speculation, I know, but just my gut feeling.

Not sure. He was a 3-star, right? They are so hard to predict because there are so many of them.

But if he is a Stinson-type freshman talent, it could be several.

If he is a Taggert-type freshman talent, zero.

We need to see him play some college ball at least. He is a freshman, but does have more experience than I think most freshmen do.

I picked 4 or more.....why? Why not, no matter what happens we will never know.

Re: How costly would Lucca's suspension be?

I'm a big believer in depth and size in the backcourt, especially for defensive purposes. And I staunchly maintain he's the best passer on the team.

I picked three, just because it seems like the backcourt is continually dinged up, and I think Lucca could play some SF as well. If Rahshon's knee tendonitis keeps up and Wesley's ankle keeps bothering him, that is two positions Lucca could provide depth to help ease the burden.

Re: How costly would Lucca's suspension be?

I would have to go for 4 or more. If he is denied and leaves ISU, I am sure we could certainly use him for the next 3 years.......so figure at a minimum 4 wins a year....so I guess at least 12 wins
