    Midnight Madness

I know this has been discussed before but with it only 19 days away, does anyone know the reason why they don't have an event like other schools do? I think it would be a good recruiting tool for the staff to use. Would anyone go to an event like this?

Someone needs to email JP! (kind of)

I'm obviously only guessing but I'd be willing to bet this has a lot to do with it.

    Re: Midnight Madness

I preferred the FanFest scrimmage that used to happen after a home football game in mid-late October. Introduce the players and let the coach give a little speech and wave to the crowd and then let them scrimmage.

I could be wrong, but I'm not sure there is a huge appetite for the midnight madness thing in all but a few places around the country.

Johnny Orr once said "Nothing good happens after midnight." Fred lives by the code of Johnny.

These were great. Unfortunately, with the floating TV times for FB, it could be pretty hard to pull that off. Back when I was attending, FB games started at 1:00 PM during that time of the year.

    Re: Midnight Madness

If we do it, we need to do it right (in the recent words of JP) like Kentucky and get a hip hop artist like 2 chainz to perform during the event. Make it real legit and stuff.

I asked some of the assistants and Fred. Matt A. replied with a "we need to make it happen!"
