Anybody else worried that this is like deja vu all over again?

Seriously... this reminds me of last year at this time when Texas was coming to town. 3-0, hyped up night game coming off the bye week, drilled the opponent at their place the year before, confidence high in Cyclone Nation...

It makes me worried. I hope like hell CPR emphasizes this stuff... The Texas game last year was pretty deflating.

It really does. I know that makes me a Debbie Downer, but I'm just too familiar with our football team's history, I guess!

I hope we can take them down though!

One thing Paul does is keep the team motivated through the season, no give up so I am not too worried about that. However, our Offense is going to have its hands full and will have to play much better for us to win.

Yes, I'm quite concerned about this game. Steele was battling a nagging injury against Texas last year, and he seems healthy, and of course he is more experienced now, so that helps. But Tech isn't going to have the same attitude toward us that they had last year. It seemed like they didn't take us seriously, even though we had beaten them the year before, and that may have been due to their big win right before our game. They don't have that feeling of invincibility now, so we're going to get a good game from them.

I'm pretty sure that will be a huge talking point this year.

A little, but Texas has/had an elite defense and I don't think Tech does. It's cliche but it's real simple in my opinion, no turnovers and I really like our chances. One or two turnovers early and we are in trouble.

We will be playing the number one defense and number two offense. It should be a barnburner, not a dumpster on fire.

CFH HMagic bball season next year.
Let my Fred's Four Horsemen ride: Georges, Hogue, Nader, and McKay.

No because its just a game, because when I wake up next sunday, the sky will not have crashed in Ames unlike Iowa City where relief efforts have been sent today to pick up the broken pieces of sky....

I'm always concerned when Cyclone fans are riding high and overconfident...I've been let down countless times

We3 have three qbns ready to roll and five running backs. Crank it up for sandstorm. Really need the DEs to have a big game.

I don't worry about hype from being undefeated. The whole point of competing is to win. Keep winning, people get excited. People get excited, hype comes along with that.

Whatever happens, I'm not worried at all based on last year. We have a good team and a good staff. No matter what, we'll come out ready, and I think we finish Saturday 4-0.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

4-0 would be HUGE for this team and Cyclone Nation.

I'm gonna be giving my all as a fan, but my gut is worried for sure.

texas and Ttech are not the same team. This ISU team has me feeling more confident than last years team for some reason. I think it will be a close game. no reason we can't beat aggie on our own turf and go 4-0
